What we focus on

“Children are not a distraction from more important work—they are the most important work.”

The Vineyard School Programs

At The Vineyard School, we offer a range of Christ-centered Montessori programs designed to nurture children from infancy through elementary school. Each program is thoughtfully crafted to promote academic growth, spiritual development, social skills, and creativity, giving your child a strong foundation for lifelong learning and faith.

Infants/Toddlers Program

Engages infants through sensory play, gentle movement, and interactive activities. Daily Bible stories, songs, and prayers introduce God’s love from the start.

Cooperative group activities promote teamwork communication, and social skills. Daily Bible stories, prayer, and character-building instill Christian values.

Lower Elementary (1st–3rd Grade)

Encourages social skills through cooperative projects and group activities. Daily Bible lessons and character education foster moral and spiritual growth.

What we focus on

Academic Development

Children engage in hands-on activities that build early literacy, math, and problem-solving skills. Through Montessori learning materials, practical exercises, and interactive lessons, students develop critical thinking, creativity, and a love for learning.

Early reading and writing skills are emphasized through phonics, letter recognition, vocabulary building, and comprehension activities. Storytelling and interactive reading help children develop strong communication skills and a lifelong interest in books.

Through group activities, cooperative play, and classroom routines, children learn empathy, teamwork, conflict resolution, and self-confidence, fostering positive relationships with peers and teachers.

Fine and gross motor skills are strengthened through movement-based activities, indoor and outdoor play, and creative arts, helping children develop coordination, balance, and physical confidence.

What is the teacher to child ratio?

We know that the more personal attention your child gets, the more they are able to grow. We want your child to get the attention they need. At the Vineyard School, we are proud to provide smaller classrooms to keep the focus on your child

Daily Bible stories, prayers, and character-building lessons are integrated throughout the day, guiding children in understanding Christian values, gratitude, and moral responsibility.

Structured routines—including snack and meal times, rest periods, and hands-on learning—provide consistency and security, creating an environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore.

Through guided activities, storytelling, and daily interactions, children are encouraged to develop honesty, kindness, responsibility, and respect. These early lessons in character help instill strong moral values that complement their academic and spiritual growth.
